Looking back on 2024, here are our 8 key moments : 1️⃣ We raised €6 million in a Series A round led by SWEN Capital Partners together with UNEXO - Crédit Agricole, La Banque Bleue, Sodero, Atlantique Vendée Innovation and Pays de la Loire Participations to accelerate our international expansion 2️⃣ We measured a 1 year ROI based on a detailed analysis of the navigations of vessels equipped with our systems ! 3️⃣ We continued our international growth and secured our first contract in China as a part of our global expansion ! 4️⃣ In less than a year 1,000 tons of CO2 were saved on the vessels equipped with our systems 5️⃣ 3 new peer-reviewed publications were published on our website, along with a new open-source software, #Shiplify 6️⃣ 100% of Vendée Globe participants started the race equipped with #SquidX, our maritime weather analysis and routing software, and 70% opted for premium subscriptions! 7️⃣ Equipping a vessel always begins with studies. 🇬🇧 We are part of the Blue Tech Index ! We were last night in Paris for a rather special ceremony : we were invited by Cluster Maritime Français, alongside 40 other French startups. We all share the distinction of being the 'best startups in the maritime sector' (their words!). This year, we are proud to be part of the Blue Tech Index, in the 'Transport and Decarbonization' category. This recognition feels like a true achievement after 10 years of working, researching, and coding navigation systems designed to make ships more innovative, more sustainable, and more comprehensive ⚓ . We would like to thank our clients who believe in our projects and enable us to gain visibility at such events, and, of course, our teams, without whom none of this would be possible. 🇫🇷 Nous faisons partie de l'Index Blue Tech ! Hier soir se tenait à Paris une cérémonie un peu spéciale pour nous : nous étions invité·es par Cluster Maritime France, comme 40 autres startups françaises. Nous avons toutes en commun d’être les “meilleures startups de la filière maritime” (leurs mots !) Nous faisons donc partie cette année de l’Index Blue Tech, dans la catégorie “Transport et Décarbonation”. Cela a un vrai goût d’accomplissement après 10 années passées à travailler, rechercher, coder des systèmes de navigation qui permettent aux bateaux d’être plus innovants, plus durables, et plus complets⚓. 🇬🇧 Our weather analysis and maritime routing software, SquidX, is racing with 100% of the Vendée Globe participants, thanks to its technology that offers tailored adaptability and precision. Yannick Bestaven, winner of the 2020-2021 edition, has been using SquidX for many years, and in particular the roadbook since 2020! This software allows him to analyze and compare his routings to historical routings, calculated over the last ten years, and to choose the right route. Currently in 7th place with his sailboat Maître CoQ V, he continues his route to the south of Oceania. We wish him good luck ! --- 🇫🇷 Notre logiciel d’analyse météo et de routage maritime SquidX accompagne 100% des skippers au Vendée Globe, grâce à sa technologie qui permet une adaptabilité et une précision sur-mesure. Yannick Bestaven, vainqueur de l’édition 2020-2021, utilise SquidX depuis de nombreuses années, et en particulier le roadbook depuis 2020 ! What truly sets us apart is the versatility and adaptability of our products! We’re incredibly proud to see the delivery of NepTech's latest project: a hybrid scientific vessel for INRAE. This vessel will enable more environmentally friendly sampling in the future, partly due to its dynamic positioning system. 🇫🇷 Français OCEANiCS, notre système embarqué de DP s’adapte sur tous les types de bateaux, qu’ils fassent 13 ou 300 mètres 🛳️ Nous vous parlons régulièrement d’installations sur des navires comme le Canopée 🚀. Mais ce qui fait notre force c’est aussi la versatilité et l’adaptabilité de nos produits ! We are pleased to share that Lucas Letournel and Simon Puech from our team recently attended and presented a contribution during "Les Journées de l'Hydrodynamique 2024," a biennial conference that brings together researchers and engineers in marine and naval hydrodynamics. 🌊 Lucas - Assessment of Boatlanding ops with advanced Digital Twins Lucas presented his paper on the assessment of boatlanding, focusing on a new methodology that uses digital twins to simulate transfer operations and analyze their performance under specified environmental conditions. His work brings more safety to operations planning. 🍃 Simon - Innovative FOWT Control Simon presented his research on the simulations and wave tank test benchmark of floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT) controllers.
