    🌍 Aligning Food Systems with the 1.5°C Goal: Reducing Methane Emissions in Dairy 🌱 Danone is leading the charge with the dairy industry’s first-ever absolute methane reduction target, aiming for a 30% reduction in methane emissions across its global milk supply chain by 2030. Methane is a powerful greenhouse gas, and tackling it is essential to meeting our climate goals. Through groundbreaking partnerships with the Environmental Defense Fund, Global Methane Hub, Cornell University, and others, Danone’s comprehensive approach includes: 🎯 Being among the first companies to have its 1.5°C target approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) 🌱 Regenerative agriculture practices in 20+ countries 📉 Cutting-edge tools like the Cool Farm Tool for tracking emissions Danone’s efforts have already achieved a 13.3% reduction (2023 vs. 2020 baseline) and align with the Global Methane Pledge. They have all been instrumental in supporting our journey to bring high-quality food and beverage solutions to every corner of the country.     This week marks Malnutrition Awareness Week! Malnutrition happens when we cannot get the right nutrition in the right amount for our wellbeing – often occurring when we fall sick or as we get older. At Danone, we know informal caregivers can be a crucial part of a person’s wellbeing, including when it comes to nutrition. So this week, we are spotlighting what we learned from them in a recent European survey with Ipsos France. También hemos querido estar al lado de las familias de las zonas más afectadas y desde el primer día estamos canalizando todas nuestras donaciones a través de Cruz Roja y Banco de Alimentos para aportar alimentos de primera necesidad como agua mineral natural, leche de fórmula para bebés y bebidas vegetales, atendiendo a las demandas que surgen en cada momento.     At Danone, we recognize that informal caregivers are essential partners in our mission to bring health through food to as many people as possible! They are often the ones noticing health changes in their loved ones, the ones driving them to medical appointments, and the ones supporting with practical every-day tasks like eating and drinking. What we learn from them helps us meet the needs of those they care for and support better outcomes for millions. That’s why we recently partnered with Ipsos France to ask 1,600 informal caregivers in Europe about their experience of caring for their loved ones. Today especially, on International Day of Care and Support, we recognize their diverse experiences and their positive impact on the wellbeing of those they care for.
