🗞️ Big news 🎉 We're excited to share that Clarisse Hagège, CEO of Dfns, is now the President of the MPC Alliance. This marks a new chapter for the industry's leading consortium focused on advancing Multi-Party Computation. Founded in 2019, the MPC Alliance has united top cryptographers, researchers, and industry leaders to promote MPC adoption, standardization, and innovation. But to establish MPC as a security standard on the same level as traditional cryptography, the Alliance needs to evolve. Under Clarisse’s leadership, the 2025 reboot will bring: ✅ Stronger governance: Expanding the board, improving financial planning, and appointing an Executive Director for daily operations. ✅ Clearer membership: Aligning voting rights with contributions, with Contributing Members (research, code, events) and Observing Members. ✅ Technical contributions: Launching an MPC Github repository, compiling industry use cases, and working with NIST, ENISA, and ISO on frameworks. ✅ Broader engagement: Rebranding the Alliance with a new website and logo, hosting major global events, and driving cross-industry collaboration. ✅ MPC certification: Establishing a formal certification program and label with trained, accredited auditors to set a trusted industry standard.
