It has been a great honour for EASE to participate in the General Assembly of its French Member, COSMOS. 🏢 This event was a key opportunity to present the challenges faced by the sport Employers in France, in the global context of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.🏅 Philippe DIALLO, COSMOS and EASE president, took advantage of this opportunity to present the challenges for social dialogue at the European level. 🌍 BeST Inclusion Project – Transnational Partner Meeting n°4 🎯 On December 2nd and 3rd, we gathered in Paris, at the EASE premises, for the 4th Transnational Partner Meeting of the BeST Inclusion project. Over these two days, significant strides were made toward achieving our shared objectives: ✅ Advancing the development of key recommendations to foster inclusion across sports organizations in Europe. ✅ Defining a robust dissemination plan to ensure the impact of our work reaches far and wide during the Final Event and beyond. 🌍 EASE attended Think tank Sport et Citoyenneté - FR’s webinar on European Sporting Heritage. We had the pleasure of attending this insightful event, which explored the cultural and historical significance of sport across Europe. The webinar featured three fascinating presentations: 1️⃣ "The Nautical History of the Netherlands" – a look at how maritime traditions have shaped Dutch identity and sporting culture. 2️⃣ "Rindal Ski Museum" – an inspiring story of Norway’s living heritage in ski-making and winter sports. 3️⃣ "The National Sports Museum in France" – an insightful look at the leading institution in the dissemination of sporting heritage. These discussions offered a powerful reminder of how sport serves as a bridge between history, culture, and communities! #SportingHeritage #EASE #EuropeanSportsModel

Last Friday, I had the privilege of attending and presenting at the final conference of the VERA Voice for Equality and Rights of women Athletes, an Erasmus+ initiative advocating for the rights of women athletes across Europe. What a great opportunity it was to be part of this event, filled with inspiring discussions led by amateur and professional athletes, women in leadership roles, and representatives from various European sports institutions. It was also a delight to reconnect with familiar faces we have worked with in the past and explore future collaborations! During my presentation, I had the opportunity to highlight key barriers and propose actionable recommendations for improving the rights of female football players at the amateur level. Drawing from 20 years of experience in women’s football, combined with research insights, I shared a deep dive into the challenges faced by amateur players. Despite the fact that amateur women’s football represents the largest group of female players in Belgium (and likely in other countries as well), this level often remains overlooked in research, policies, strategies, and concrete actions. Are you a woman in sports, at any level, who has encountered barriers or challenges related to athletes’ rights and gender equality? Vendredi 15 novembre, j’ai eu l’occasion de participer à la conférence VERA Voice for Equality and Rights of women Athletes à Bruxelles 🇧🇪 afin de rencontrer et d’échanger avec des athlètes féminines de haut niveau, des professionnels du sport, des fédérations sportives Fédération Internationale de Volleyball - FIVB ainsi que des organisations telles que le International Olympic Committee – IOC et l’Union Européenne sur le droit des femmes dans le sport.💪🏼 Un événement qui a mis en lumière la place des femmes dans le sport et du chemin qu’il reste à parcourir.🤝 #girlboss
