Two new ISO standards dedicated to the solar testing of cosmetic products have been officially validated : ISO 23675 (double plates) and ISO 23698 (HDRS). These standards represent alternative methods for SPF determination and are to be published in early 2025. The in vivo SPF determination method (ISO 24444) will remain available. The choice of methodology will be determined based on country-specific requirements and regulatory preferences, ensuring flexibility and alignment with local needs. This condition, caused by an imbalance in the vaginal microbiota, leads to symptoms like increased discharge, odor, itching, and irritation. Traditional treatments often involve antibiotics, but they can result in recurrence, antibiotic resistance, and failure to restore healthy microbiota.
