📢 Efus is proud to sign the Declaration of Networks Against Hate alongside the Strong Cities Network! 📝🌍 Our cities, represented by Nadia ZOURGUI (Ville et Eurométropole de Strasbourg) and Manuel Comeron (Ville de Liège) at the #FifthGlobalSummit of the Strong Cities Network have endorsed this declaration to combat #HateSpeech, empower local governments, and build strong, cohesive, and resilient cities. 🌆 This declaration highlights the destructive impact of hate speech, disinformation, and conspiracy theories, which deepen divisions, dehumanise individuals, and threaten peace, human rights, and sustainable development. It also underscores the vital role of local leaders. 🗨️ "Acknowledging the pivotal role of mayors and other sub-national leaders, governments, and civil society in preventing and responding to hate and intolerance." 📖 Read the full declaration here (still open for cities to endorse): https://lnkd.in/eMncU6sH
