On 10 and 11 Dec 2024 the European Union Agency for Railways organised an incident investigation training for railway accident investigators of the #EU candidate countries and potential candidate countries. This #training was supported by the #Transport Community, NIB Portugal and NIB Romania and funded with #IPA budget. Experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Türkiye actively participated in the discussions about precursors of an #accident and near misses. Additionally, there was a technical visit to the Marmaray tunnel and its control center in Maltepe. #ERAtraininig #safety #interoperability #rail
