Vaping must be included in the next EU smoking ban. In view of the European Parliament debate on the EU Council Recommendations on smoke and aerosol-free environments, the ESC expresses its strong support for the approval of the Recommendations as they were proposed. #CVHealthForAll

ESC leadership and representatives from National Cardiac Societies were welcomed by the European Parliament in Brussels, where together they delved into the beating heart of EU decision making. This was followed by a meet-and-greet reception hosted by MEP Michael Hadjipantela during which several MEPs joined to discuss the need to foster action on #CardiovascularHealth at EU and national level, in light of the upcoming Council of the European Union Conclusions set to be adopted in early December.
