🌲🔍 Forest certification is one of the most effective tools for forest companies to demonstrate that their products come from forests that are responsibly managed, protecting biodiversity, local communities, and the environment 🌲🔍 As a member of WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development's Forest Solutions Group, Olam Agri are committed to sustainable and responsible forestry, as well as developing the economy, improving living conditions and looking after people living around their concessions 👨👩👧👧 In fact, in 2006, Olam Agri became the first to achieve Forest Stewardship Council certification in the Republic of Congo, making the company the longest holder of FSC® certification in the Congo Basin 🌳 ➡️ In 2024, Olam Agri reported that 100% of all forests it owns, leases and manages are certified, amounting to 2.1 million hectares ➡️ 25% of its certified concessions are permanently protected and reserved for the communities Want to see how Olam Agri integrates biodiversity conservation, sustainable timber production, and community resilience into its work?
