Read the full article to discover how this is applied! ⬇
It is early stages, but Liverpool look to be fending off opposition counter-attacks well so far this season, which was one of their key weaknesses last year. This season, they look qualitatively more solid in transition, recovering the ball in a calmer way when the opportunity for a high regain is not there. Good rest defence, a solid structure, and perhaps easier opposition contribute to this initial trend — but the early signs are positive from Arne Slot's new side.
