A l'occasion de la COP16 Colombia, RESTORE - biodiversity, together et le projet El Divisor porté par Servicio Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas (SERNANP) et FRONTERRA ont été mis en avant en tant que pilote à la fois de la European Commission dans le cadre de ses engagements en faveur de la certification des actions en faveur de la biodiversité et des certificats biodiversité, et par International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) dans le cadre de la présentation du "Framework for high integrity biodiversity credit markets". Ltd., a global leader in soft commodities, to spearhead grouped conservation and carbon projects in the heart of the #Peruvian #Amazon. 🌍 🚀 About ECOM: Headquartered in Switzerland and operating in 40 producing countries, ECOM is a giant in #cacao, #coffee, and #cotton. With deep roots in Latin America and a longstanding commitment to sustainability, ECOM works with thousands of farmers and local businesses to drive responsible agricultural practices. 🎯 Project Focus: Our collaboration will begin with an ambitious project centered on empowering farmers and native communities in the Amazon, promoting sustainable land use through innovative cocoa-based #agroforestry systems—all while adhering to strict zero-deforestation principles. 🌳 A Balanced Approach to Development and Preservation: This initiative not only aims to restore degraded lands and boost smallholder farmers' productivity but also to preserve the rainforest ecosystems, proving that economic growth and environmental protection can go hand-in-hand.
