🔥 #Throwback Revivez en images une soirée unique marquée par une mobilisation exceptionnelle autour des enjeux de la malnutrition. Athlètes, chefs, personnalités, tous unis contre la malnutrition. Mardi dernier, nous avons franchi une étape clé vers le Sommet Nutrition for Growth, avec des soutiens de haut niveau pour porter cet enjeu crucial. Un immense merci à celles et ceux qui ont répondu présents : 🥇 Les athlètes médaillé·es olympiques Sarah-Léonie Cysique et Larbi Benboudaoud 🥇 Les athlètes paralympiques Arnaud Assoumani et Nacer ZORGANI - Paralympian 🥋 👨🍳 Les chefs engagés Hélène Darroze, Philippine Jaillet et Charles Neyers ⭐ Les personnalités Rai Oliveira et Charlotte Dhenaux Nous avons également eu l’honneur d’accueillir le Ministre délégué chargé de la Francophonie et des partenariats internationaux, M. Thani Mohamed-Soilihi, des ambassadeurs et des député·es, tous mobilisés pour mettre fin à la malnutrition. ✨ Mention spéciale à Madame la Députée Eleonore Caroit, sans qui rien n’eut été possible et dont l'engagement et le soutien ont été essentiels pour faire de cet événement une réussite ! 🙌 Un grand merci également aux équipes d'UNICEF France pour ce partenariat fructueux ! Rendez-vous le 27 mars à Paris pour faire du #N4G un tournant décisif dans la lutte contre la malnutrition. Ensemble, intensifions nos efforts contre ce fléau qui touche tous les pays et qui a des conséquences dramatiques :  ❌ 50 % des décès d’enfants de moins de 5 ans sont liés à la malnutrition ; ❌ 45 millions d’enfants souffrent d’émaciation ; ❌ 148 millions accusent un retard de croissance. 🚨 Ces chiffres sont inacceptables. In March 2025, France will host the Nutrition for Growth Summit. 🗓️ On 19-20 March, the EU and the Gates Foundation will co-host the Gavi pledging Summit. This is a key moment for Gavi 6.0, which aims to immunize 500 million children by 2030. As historical partners of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, the European Union and its Member States will play a key role in this event’s success. The European Commission has pledged €260 million for the 2026-2027 period. Amref Health Africa (France), Focus 2030 and Global Health Advocates thank the European Commission for its commitment and call on Member States to step up in a #TeamEurope spirit. 🇪🇺 Global TB R&D funding is at record high at $1.3 bn, but far below global UN commitment of $5 billion, according to the new report published by Treatment Action Group (TAG) and Stop TB Partnership. In 2023, both France and the EU as a whole fell short on their commitments, contributing only 23% and 30% of their fair share target. Only with new scientific tools we will be able to #endTB! We call on France and the EU to rise to the challenge and increase their contribution to TB R&D.
