Episode 42 of the MEXpreneurs Podcast is LIVE! This is a special episode in the MEXpreneurs Podcast for 3 main reasons: 1️⃣ first 9 months of MEXpreneurs, 2️⃣ finale of season 1 of the MEXpreneurs Podcast, and 3️⃣ 3 previous podcast guests, Mayra Hurtado 🐝, Antonio Anguiano 🌱, and Walter Daniel Mata Martínez, who have played an active role in building MEXpreneurs, joined us once again. First, on October 31st, 2024, we celebrated the first 9 months of MEXpreneurs since the launch on February 1st this year. It has been like a birth of a child. During these first 9 months, the MEXpreneurs community was born, attracting now over 50 Mexican tech startup founders worldwide who joined us as guests in the MEXpreneurs Podcast and/or who physically met us in the in-person MEXpreneurs Founder Meetups that we have hosted across 7 different cities around the world: Mexico City and Monterrey in Mexico, Seattle in the US, and Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, and Berlin in Europe. In addition, we have now identified over a 100 Mexican tech startups globally, which we have listed in the Mexican tech startups directory available through the MEXpreneurs website. Connections and partnerships have started to emerge as a result of this and we are very excited about those in the future. Second, this episode 42 represents the finale of season 1 of the MEXpreneurs Podcast. Since February 1st this year, we’ve released, non-stop, one new episode every Thursday, featuring one Mexican tech startup founder. Actually, each founder has had two episodes on a row. In the first episode they’ve shared about their founder journey, how they got where they are today, their ups and downs and learnings in between. In the second episode, some also brought in their co-founders to talk about their startups, their traction, the people behind them, and their priorities for the next months. In total we have featured 20 Mexican tech startups from 14 different countries across 18 different industries. In case you haven’t listened to them, all episodes are available via Spotify, Apple Podcast, and YouTube. Finally, in this episode we are joined again by 3 Mexican tech startup founders who participated as guests during the first season: Mayra Hurtado, Co-Founder & CEO of Hormony ® (Prelude Health) in based Singapore, Antonio Anguiano, Co-Founder & CEO of Greenny in based in Paris, France, and Walter Mata, Founder & CEO of WAS Co Mexico based in Monterrey, Mexico. Mayra joined us in episodes 18 and 19, Antonio in episodes 20 and 21 and Walter in episodes 22 and 23. Check out their episodes in case you haven’t. Each of them has also played an active role in the development of the MEXpreneurs community since they joined us in the podcast. Therefore, in this episode they shared with us their experience at MEXpreneurs so far as well as the potential that they see for this community moving forward. Thank you Mayra, Antonio, and Walter for joining us once again! #season1finale

🌍🌱 Congrats to Sergio G. Chavez from MEXpreneurs for achieving the Camino de Santiago! 🚶♂️🌳 Sergio recently completed this legendary pilgrimage, walking over 160 km from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. Along the way, he took an incredible 225,812 steps, planting 4 trees and offsetting 3 tons of CO2 with Greenny! 🌍✨ This inspiring journey reminds us that every step counts—whether you’re walking the Camino or simply making small changes in your daily life, you can help protect our planet. 🌿 Let's celebrate Sergio’s achievement and inspire others to follow in his footsteps. #sustainability #csr #mextech #frenchtech #greentech

Milestone moment! 🌍 It’s inspiring to see our leadership actively engaging in initiatives that align with our goals at Greenny. Our CEO, Antonio, had the honor of participating in this significant meeting at the Embassy of Mexico in France, alongside MEXpreneurs, an incredible organization dedicated to supporting startups like ours. A lovely revisit from our most recent encounter, where we discussed the mission and vision of Greenny and how we make your efforts lead to tangible, real-world impact through our tree-planting activities, helping you give back to the planet by offsetting carbon footprints. For more insights, listen to our recent podcast with MEXpreneurs: https://lnkd.in/dBrMxrpe. This visit is a testament to the strong international ties we’re building and the collaborative efforts to push the boundaries of innovation. As we continue to innovate and grow, we invite our community to stay connected and join us on this journey toward a greener future. 🌱 #Climatetech #EnvironmentalLeadership #Sustainability #Greentech #ClimateAction
Mexican Embassy in France & MEXpreneurs! 🇫🇷🤝🇲🇽 Danielle Pellat, Deputy Counsellor of Economic Affairs at the Embajada de México en Francia / Ambassade du Mexique en France, received last week Antonio Anguiano 🌱 and our Founder, Sergio G. Chavez, in person at the Embassy in Paris to discuss how to jointly support Mexican tech startup founders in France. Danielle and her team are responsible for all economic activity between France and Mexico, including the collaboration between French and Mexican corporations, chambers, and associations, as well as foreign investment and the support to Mexican and French entrepreneurs looking to do business across both countries On the other hand, Antonio is a Mexican tech startup founder based in Paris since 20+ years, Co-Founder & CEO of Greenny, a Climate Tech startup also based in Paris, and MEXpreneurs Advisor in Product-Market Fit. He recently joined us in the MEXpreneurs Podcast to talk about his founder journey and about Greenny. The links to listen to Antonio’s podcast episodes and to meet other advisors and people behind MEXpreneurs are in the comments below. The agenda included how to replicate in France the success story between the Mexican Embassy in Germany and MEXpreneurs where three Mexican tech startup founders around the globe - Mayra Hurtado 🐝 from Hormony ® (Prelude Health) in Singapore, Jovan Rebolledo from SkySpec in Japan, and Ruben Lopez Ph.D. Lopez from Nanofacile in Canada -, were jointly nominated by the Embassy and MEXpreneurs and then selected as finalists at Falling Walls Venture, a prestigious competition in Germany for science-based startups organized by the Falling Walls Foundation. Learn more through the LinkedIn post from Oliver Contla, Head of Economy and Trade at the Mexican Embassy in Germany, included in the comments below. The Mexican Embassy in France is also a historic landmark since Octavio Paz, Mexican poet and diplomat recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature, wrote there “El Laberinto de la Soledad” (The Labyrinth of Solitude), one his most famous essays. Thank you Danielle for having us and thanks as well to Luis Anaya Imazio, Head of Economy and Trade at the Mexican Embassy in France, and his peer in Germany, Oliver Contla, for making this meeting possible! #france #mexico #embassy #startups #mexicaninnovation
