Hylé is a lean blockchain that helps you build provable applications that are minimally, yet sufficiently, onchain.
À propos
Provable applications give us security and privacy through zero-knowledge proofs. They solve the trust dilemma without sacrificing scalability. However, ZK technology remains very constraining because of its fragmented stack, different proving systems, and slow value chain, which limits its potential. 𝐇𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧, allowing developers to build minimally but sufficiently on-chain provable apps. We focus only on what matters: sequencing and settlement. With Hylé, you avoid the high costs, poor performance, and fragmented tools of zkApp development. Our chain handles proofs hassle-free, enabling you to outsource proof generation, parallelize verification, and ensure compatibility. Our modular settlement layer works with any execution engine, proof system, or prover. We give you complete flexibility, and 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝.

🧠 We co-wrote an article for Bedlam Research on Rethinking base layers for the ZK era! It explains how novel consensus algorithms and the enshrining verification of zero-knowledge proofs allow for higher application customizability while safeguarding composability. Today, Ethereum looks like this: • Ethereum as DA • Rollups need their own verification & settlement • To allow forced ETH exits, you need ETH verification Specialized data availability layers, like Celestia Labs, Eigen Labs, or Initia Labs, decouple the base layer into two hubs: • Data availability • Verification The original role of blockchain was to decentralize trust between parties. In a rollup-centric world, the base layer decentralizes trust between rollups to enable secure interoperability, DA, and verification. Hylé allows rollups to progress independently. Coordination is only needed for cross-app asset transfers. It's the next generation of consensus. Ordering can be localized to where it's actually required rather than imposed globally across all transactions. 🟠 At Hylé, we're creating an elegant solution to rollups that increases throughput in specialized execution environments without sacrificing composability with other rollups.
