[NARRATIVES] In 2024, IN SITU Associate Kaleider, premiered Arch in a tour to 8 contexts across 7 countries. Arch is an attempt to build a freestanding arch, made two thirds of concrete and one third of ice. Deceptively simple, yet surprisingly emotional – breath, heart, and muscle entangle with the perpetual inevitability of collapse. This short documentary takes us behind the scenes with the company, revealing an effort that at times seems to echo the artwork itself. Find out more about Arch: https://lnkd.in/edg8M4fv

[VIDEO NARRATIVE] 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 is an art project and, at the same time, a journalistic experiment, developped by IN SITU Artist Johannes Bellinkx & Daan Brinkmann Developped within the current project (UN)COMMON SPACES 2020-2024, the project inhabits the new collaborative space that IN SITU is creating. The idea is to expose the uncommon space that physically connects all the partners, artists and citizens through the perspective of a parcel. A parcel will be around in the network. It has four built-in candid camera's and microphones that can stream the footage of the journey that its making. The Parcel Project is on a journalistic mission to change this, by explorating it from within. As a spectator, you’ll become the parcel. You’re teleported into spaces that are normally inaccessible to humans, traversing the intricate network of our consumer-driven society. Read and watch here: https://lnkd.in/eupS83CA
