Yesterday at IMS Shipyard (International Marine Services & Ysec) was greeted with the departure of another customer after the end of her technical stopover and the completion of her sea trials for the validation of the work. The vessel is a motor yacht with an overall length of 49.9 m. The yacht's builder is Benetti Yachts SpA from Italy, The superyacht has a beam of 9.2 m, a draught of 2.45 m and a volume of 499 GT. She has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. She is powered by 2 MAN engines, which give her a top speed of 15 knots. This project was followed by David BANKS one of our project managers, who put all his energy and determination into finishing this project exactly on time given by the client. This second part of November is synonymous with the end of the technical stopover onward for some of the vessels that arrived at the beginning of the refit period for IMS Shipyard. Among these, our two sites of 300 and 700 have therefore proceeded to the relaunch of two motoryachts that will finish their completion phase afloat in our technical marina after the time spent on hard. These two motoryachts came out of Italian shipyards The first with a length of 40 m comes out of the Baglietto Yachts The superyacht has a beam of 7,4 m, a draught of 1,2 m and a volume of 255 GT. The second from Rossinavi with an overall length of 48,3 m.The superyacht has a beam of 8,9 m, a draught of 2,85 m and a volume of 497GT. The flexibility of the IMS Shipyard installations makes it possible to combine on the same place stay on hard, afloat and secure sheds. These two projects were under the supervision of Yohan Bucket and Laurent Buisson members of the projects teams. This week in IMS Shipyard it is the turn of our historical facilites of IMS 300 to make a duo of boats from the renowned Moonen Shipyards B.V. in Holland with combined operations afloat and hauling out for two elegant motor yachts These two vessels have very similar characteristics with an overall length of 31m,, beam of 7.2m and a draft around 2m with steel hull an aluminum superstructures and powered by Catepillar engines. These two projects will be followed by two of ours project managers with Quentin Luc and Vincent BASTIEN and assisted by elodie troin The historic site of IMS 300 thanks to its hardstanding area,its alongside quays and sheds is offering interesting flexibility solutions for vessels up to 300 tons in weight. Opening thursday night crew party ! In the past the Thursday night parties were very appreciated by the crews present on our two sites of 300 and 700 at IMS Shipyard. For the end of the month of October, activity is increasing on both IMS Shipyard facilities of IMS 300 & 700. IMS Shipyard is pleased to announce the arrival of one of our regular customers for its technical stop this winter. The motor yacht, with an overall length of 44.8 m, is from Couach Yachts, boasting a beam of 9.25 m, a draught of 2.37 m, and a volume of 430 GT. This superyacht features a GRP hull and superstructure, powered by 2 MTU engines, reaching a top speed of 24 kn. The project will be overseen by Laurent Bruzzone our director of Projects.
