Research has recently put inflammation back at the heart of calving transition management. During the transition period, increased inflammation leads to a drop in dry matter intake, which in turn reduces the levels of nutrients required to meet the cow's energy needs, leading to increased body weight loss. The result is felt in the animal's performance: the milk yield potential in early lactation will be lower. Don't wait to take control! Discover our program dedicated to managing the calving transition period 👇https://lnkd.in/emV5cY75
