Working on "Inside Kristallnacht" has been more than just a professional endeavor—it's a deeply personal journey. This project isn't just about employing technology; it's about weaving the threads of history into an immersive narrative that educates and commemorates. With the help of NanoGL, our open-source WebGL framework, we reconstructed the events of November 9, 1938, allowing users to relive these moments through the eyes of Dr. Charlotte Knobloch, a survivor who guides us with her personal stories and memories. I'm proud that Gauthier Pompougnac has taken the lead in writing a comprehensive technical article that delves into our innovative processes, allowing us to share our insights and innovations. This transformative experience truly embodies why I am passionate about technology—using it as a force to keep the flame of memory alive. Pigeons. Do we love them or hate them? Serious conversations on the internal #strategy slack chat this week with Camille Chalvin. What sparked it? Pigeons are having a moment. Whether thats the new Paris-based Colombian artist Ivan Argote High Line sculpture, entitled “Dinosaur,” or the infamous JW Anderson pigeon bag, time and again they are something of a cultural icon and even at makemepulse we had a lot of fun bringing the digital version of DIRECTV and TBWA\Chiat\Day Frank and Bobby to life. 'Strange and funny' the installation is both there to surprise and delight but also as a catalyst for conversation. Like Argote says, maybe it is the migratory nature of pigeons making a home for themselves anywhere that we connect with. Either way, they are always a catalyst for the imagination!
