The interest in our workshop yesterday on AI and LLMs as tools for social sciences and humanities showed the importance of the topic and how it is relevant to discuss future developments. Many thanks to our organisers from the OPERAS Special Interest Group on Tools and Platforms, Antoine Cordelois and Monica Roos, and the chair Karla Avanço. Also a huge thank you to our speakers Julien Homo (Foxcub), Sy Holsinger (OPERAS CTO), Tomasz Umerle and Magdalena Wnuk (Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBL PAN), Rupert Gatti (Open Book Publishers), and Stefano De Paoli and Alex Fawzi (Abertay University). If you also have good AI-relevant cases to share, don't hesitate to get in touch with the OPERAS Lab and share your initiative on the Observatory or share your project ideas that need support with the Lab Accelerator: https://lnkd.in/eiBbEG6Y. Stay tuned for more insights into the topic that will be shared soon on our social media channels. #AI #LLMs #SSH #ScholComm #OPERASRI
