Sustainable Indium Phosphide (InP) platform and ecosystem upscaling, enabling future mass market (sub-)THz applications.
À propos
Move2THz - an ambitious project that will address today’s InP shortcomings and build a mature European ecosystem to obtain a commercially and industry viable platform for use in various mass-market applications utilizing the higher frequency spectrum towards THz and beyond. Main OBJECTIVES: 1) Provide a competitive facility for the high volume InP manufacturing in Europe, ready to use for industry; 2) Foster and leverage European ecosystem on InP from the material to the application and widen the market adoption; 3) Demonstrate an overall CO2 footprint reduction all along the product life cycle, from cradle to grave. ------------------------------------------- Move2THz is supported by the Chips Joint Undertaking and its members, including the top-up funding by National Authorities under Grant Agreement n° 101139842.

This autumn, the first RF-Net network workshop was held by IEMN on the topic of radio frequency calibration (Lille, France). These technical days were an opportunity to present this new network of radiofrequency characterization platforms and to create a moment of exchange between its members. Move2THz partner IMS Laboratory (Assoc. Prof. Marina Deng) presented research on "THz transistors in III-V technology for 6G applications: how to measure them to envision the circuits of the future?". #NetworkWorkshop #TechnicalDays #RFNet2024 #PEPRFutureNetworks #6GApplications

This November, the Dutch Province of Brabant, one of Europe’s leading high-tech regions, hosted the 5th #BrabantInnovationDay at The Okura 𝑻𝒐𝒌𝒚𝒐 🔴 🏯. This annual summit has become a beacon for showcasing the latest innovations from Brabant’s startups, research institutes, and regional government, all working together to address global challenges. Move2THz was mentioned by our scientific partner, Eindhoven University of Technology, in Associate Professor Yuqing Jiao's presentation - "Next-Generation PIC Research at TU/e". Presenting TU Eindhoven's vision for the future scaling of the PIC technology, especially in speed, energy efficiency, and integration density. The aim of the Brabant Innovation Days summit is to strengthen existing partnerships, celebrate successes, and explore new partnerships to accelerate innovation with global societal impact. 👏 🤝 #Move2THz in #Tokyo #BrabantInnovationDay

✨ Beyond meeting room: the power of Social Dinners.🍽️ In the world of projects, success often hinges on more than just timelines, deliverables, and metrics. It’s about the people behind the work—their stories, passions, and motivations. That’s why social dinners with project partners are more than just meals; they’re investments in understanding and trust. 🍽️✨ A project isn’t just about what you do—it’s about how you do it 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓. * cozy Move2THz dinner at La Fleur de Lille, France. 🌹
