    Moynat Holiday 2024 collection in collaboration with legendary graphic designer Kazumasa Nagai celebrates his iconic 'Life' series and features a selection of his artworks printed on limited editions handbags, charms, card holders, passport and notebook covers. The collection combines Moynat’s expertise in leather goods with playful artworks of lions, chimpanzee, owl, starfish, octopus and whale shark in bold colours of red and blue. ‘Animals come in all shapes and varieties; they co-exist with one another. I focused on the life inside me and how it was consistent with the animals. I didn’t draw them realistically; they were all from my world expressed in a simple way with a sense of curiosity and cuteness.  My aim was to energise people and create something that symbolises it, that is the Life series.’  Kazumasa Nagai about the ‘Life’ series.     Moynat was established in 1849 as a House specialized in trunk making. Its founder, Pauline Moynat, invented the "English Trunk" as early as 1873. First trunk to be coated in gutta-percha, a then newly-discovered vegetal gum from Indonesia. This revolutionary waterproof canvas becomes a major pillar of the House’s reputation of innovation and technical excellence. In the early 1900s the 'M' monogram, newly introduced by Henri Rapin, was hand-painted on the trunks canvas immediately recognizable as the signature of the House. The M collection is the latest expression of our archive monogram, a fusion between the House’s traditional heritage and ongoing commitment to contemporary innovation. Abby Champion and He Cong shot by Oliver Hadlee Pearch, this series highlights the essence of Moynat’s canvas with a focus on movement, liveliness and color. #Moynat

    Moynat announces the launch of a special collaboration with Lucia Liu for the Qixi Festival, available from July 25th in selected stores. Inspired by the traditional elements of this romantic holiday, the collection features symbols of love and the wonderful anticipations between lovers. The collection centers around the BB Duo bag, chosen by Lucia for its versatility and unique style. For the Qixi Festival, Moynat and Lucia Liu have created whimsical elements printed and embossed on the BB Duo bag and on charming bag accessories. Lucia chose the albizia flower, the butterfly and the bean as symbol of this collection to express love and joy. This collection combines playful design with Moynat's signature craftsmanship, celebrating love passion and creativity. Lucia Liu, a renowned fashion creative and stylist, joined «T Magazine China» in 2015 as Executive Deputy Editor and Fashion Director, after serving as Styling Director of «harper's BAZAAR China» in 2011. In 2012, she founded theBallroom, a visual creativity platform exploring fashion creation and communication through various media. #Moynat

    Moynat launches vibrant color canvas at Isetan, Shinjuku, pop-up in Tokyo. Moynat announces the launch of its latest color canvas, part of the M Collection, at an exclusive pop-up in Isetan, Shinjuku, from June 19 to 25, in Tokyo. Visitors are invited to explore a dynamic layout featuring the collection palette, including vibrant reds, blues, yellows, oranges, and sophisticated browns and greys. This immersive experience highlights Moynat’s craftsmanship and innovative use of color across a setup made of colorful lacquered trunks, inspired by the House archives. Especially for the launch, the Isetan Shinjuku pop-up will carry worldwide exclusive color canvases in orange and red. Alongside the M Collection in black & white, brown, and color canvas, the pop-up also includes a customization booth.
