📣 Exciting news from the #HEU project UNICORN! The first project review meeting was held last week (6th November). It was a great opportunity for a lively exchange of ideas, results and constructive criticism in the field of scintillator (SL) technology development for radiation detection applications. Glass to Power was represented by Marcello La Rosa, R&D Manager. The meeting ranged from a highlight on the vision, mission and goal of the project, to a critical perspective on the innovation potential towards real SL applications, to a detailed presentation of the activities undertaken and results achieved so far. This not only provided an insight into the progress of the project, but also stimulated discussions on how to further push the boundaries of SL. Many thanks to the project coordinator, Prof. Sergio Brovelli (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca), for leading such a stimulating meeting and providing us with the opportunity to engage in stimulating team-building activities.
