Let's face it: corrugated trails are among the toughest challenges you’ll encounter when off-roading long distances. They test your endurance - and push your vehicle even harder. We all know there’s a certain sweet spot where your 4x4 and the corrugation seem to coexist in harmony. But what if speed didn’t matter anymore? What if your suspension could handle it effortlessly, mile after mile, no matter how fast - or how slow - you go? Well, you’ve found us! "To me, a badly corrugated road is one of the most severe tests of a loaded overland vehicle’s suspension, and the Nimbus suspension passed with flying colors. Luisa and I gaped at each other as we glided along with only the worst washboard registering vibration; 'That’s incredible,' we thought. Nimbus calls that comfort the flying carpet effect.” wrote Graeme Bell after driving on Nimbus for a few weeks. That’s the highest compliment we could hope to receive.

As 2024 comes to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our clients, partners, friends, and teammates for making this an extraordinary year. This was the year we began selling our very first suspensions and expanded our footprint to Africa (Nairobi, Kenya), the Middle East (Dubai, UAE), Europe, and beyond Florida in the United States, with Denver, CO, and Houston, TX. The support, trust, and collaboration of the off-roading community have been the driving forces behind these milestones. As we look to 2025, it may sound a bit cheesy to say, but we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead: we have plans for further expansion, three groundbreaking innovations we aim to bring to market before the end of the year, and a wave of new Nimbus suspensions for a dozen vehicles we haven’t covered yet. Together, we believe we’re building something remarkable, and we can’t wait to continue this journey with you. Here’s to a year of success, growth, and new opportunities for us all!

Quotes are popular because they often carry a deep and very inspirational meaning, a legacy from some of the greatest minds in human history. But times are changing, and technology comes to challenge some of these old pieces of popular wisdom. We have found one that - in the context of off-roading - is now pretty obsolete.

At Nimbus, we believe that building strong relationships with local communities is essential. Being close to our customers allows us to better understand their needs and design suspension systems that truly meet their expectations. Recently, we’ve expanded our footprint to the Gulf Cooperation Council with an office in Dubai, to East Africa with a presence in Nairobi, and to Houston, TX, and Denver, CO, in the United States. In addition, we’ve begun preliminary discussions with numerous professionals worldwide, as we aim to establish a network of highly skilled experts who can install and later service our suspensions close to where our clients are located. If we’re not yet in your area, rest assured, we will be soon. In the meantime, if you know and trust professionals who excel in their work and deliver exceptional service, please encourage them to reach out to us. The best referrals always come from satisfied clients like you. #Nimbus #Offroad

It’s been 150 days since we shipped the very first Nimbus suspensions for a Grenadier. That first client, based in the United States, marked the beginning of a strong series that keeps going today, turning this model into our best seller! This photo captured the excitement of that moment: Méline posing with the components of the very first Nimbus suspensions for a Grenadier. A huge thank you to all of you for your trust and support. We are beyond grateful! 🩶 #offroad

We have some exciting news for our American friends and community! We’re thrilled to announce our new presence in Denver, Colorado - undoubtedly one of the most important hubs for adventure and rugged terrain enthusiasts. Leading this exciting chapter for Nimbus is Rodrigo Vasquez, a passionate off-road fan and expert. “Colorado isn’t just a location; it’s one of the epicenters of off-roading culture in North America. I joined Nimbus because I share the company’s commitment to excellence, and I’m excited to bring our cutting-edge suspension systems to a community that truly values performance and innovation.” Rodrigo Vasquez Denver was a natural choice for us at Nimbus. Its vibrant off-road community and proximity to some of the most challenging terrains in the country make it the perfect place for us to connect directly with enthusiasts in the Rockies. If you’re in Denver, please reach out! We’d love to connect with you!

The photos you see showcase the Peugeot P4 that we have specially equipped with Nimbus suspensions, custom-developed for Ecurie Frères d'Armes, who are competing in the Dakar Rally 2025. But today, we’re not here to talk about technology or performance - we want to highlight this incredible organization. Ecurie Frères d'Armes supports wounded French military personnel in rebuilding themselves physically and, most importantly, mentally, through 4x4 raids like the #dakar2025. At Nimbus, we deeply believe that the life we enjoy today is possible because countless professions dedicate their existence to protecting ours. This is why active forces - whether military, police, or firefighters - and first responders benefit from a special discount on our products, both in France and the United States. It’s also why we proudly chose to support Ecurie Frères d'Armes by developing custom suspensions for their Peugeot P4. The car and the support truck are now en route to #SaudiArabia and we want to draw your attention to Ecurie Frères d'Armes and their remarkable work, carried out entirely by active military personnel and veterans volunteering their time. Please join us in following them on this journey and supporting their mission - whether by sending words of encouragement or through donations. Let’s give back a small part of the love they show us through their unwavering commitment. And since it was Thanksgiving last week - and many of us probably still have turkey leftovers in the fridge - we want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to all active forces and veterans, American, French, and allies, who dedicate their lives to ensuring that we and our families can enjoy freedom, democracy, and safety. We owe so much to these incredible women and men. PS: We used the Blue - White - Red colors on their Nimbus to echo the French flag. So, if the United States Marine Corps ever wants to do the same and enter a car in the Dakar Rally, rest assured - we just need to invert the order of the colors, and you’re all set! 😃 🇺🇸

Here are two of the secrets that make Nimbus suspensions truly durable. It’s often when their suspensions fail – leaks, broken welds, corrosion… – that our future clients turn to us. At Nimbus, we have a clear goal: to design suspensions capable of lasting for decades, not just a few years. One of our secrets? We primarily use spun metals. This process, though costly and demanding, allows us to produce parts up to 30% more resistant than those made with stretched or laminated metals. Spinning is a process where metal is pressed hot through a die, reorienting its grains uniformly in the direction of the extrusion. This orientation gives the material much greater mechanical resistance in that direction while eliminating potential internal defects, which is ideal when dealing with directed and repetitive stresses, as in our suspensions. But that’s not enough. Another of our secrets is that all our parts are machined from solid blocks of metal (such as 7175 aluminum or 15CDV6 steel), without welding, to eliminate critical points that could become areas of weakness. Of course, all these choices come with an added (over)cost – between 20% and 50%, depending on the case – but we see this as an investment that enables us to offer products capable of withstanding the most demanding environments and guaranteeing uncompromising durability, 2 to 3 times greater than that achieved with standard metals. It also reflects our commitment to always creating the best suspensions we can. We want Nimbus to be the last suspensions you ever need to buy, and for them to accompany you, without fail, throughout the life of your vehicle. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment or send us a message. #offroad #suspensions #nimbus
