Le déploiement des accords entre OCP Africa, le Bénin et la Banque mondiale sur la fertilité des sols a franchi une étape décisive lors du 2ᵉ atelier, tenu à Cotonou du 28 au 31 octobre 2024. Cet atelier, organisé en collaboration avec le Ministère de l’Agriculture du Bénin, a permis de valider les hypothèses de travail, d’identifier les filières agricoles ciblées, de définir les zones d’intervention prioritaires et de mobiliser les partenaires stratégiques nécessaires à la réussite des projets. La session s’est conclue par une restitution auprès du Ministre de l’Agriculture, M. Building on the strong collaboration between OCP Group and USAID, we proudly launched the Farmer Service Centers (FSC) Project in #Rwanda, a transformative initiative made possible through the partnership of OCP Africa, Rwanda Fertilizer Company (#RFC), and Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) under the USAID Feed the Future-Hinga Wunguke Activity. This project will empower seven FSC owners across Rwanda to deliver timely access to essential inputs and services, directly supporting smallholder farmers and driving agricultural productivity. With over 40 key stakeholders joining us, we celebrated the incredible potential of FSCs to boost yields, foster sustainability, and create pathways to lasting economic growth in Rwanda. #OCPAfrica #Sustainability

Mehdi FILALI , Senior Vice President for West Africa, participated in IFDC’s symposium held yesterday in Amsterdam to celebrate its 50th anniversary, centered on the theme "Unified Action for Soil Health and Food Security." During his presentation, Mehdi FILALI highlighted the achievements of OCP Group and OCP Africa in advancing an integrated soil health management approach and implementing the 4R principles for effective fertilization. He also emphasized the strategic partnerships that OCP Group has developed with organizations such as the World Bank, USAID, and the African Development Bank to support Africa's 10-year agricultural action plan.
