This collaboration will allow us to contribute to shaping the future of Digital Product Passports (DPPs) and circular economy practices in the fashion industry. 🔍 Expert Insights; As part of this initiative, our Strategic Consultant, Dr. Daniela Ott, is actively engaged in Expert Working Group 3 (EWG 3)—the Textiles Stakeholders Group. This group focuses on bringing crucial insights from the textile sector, including value chains, supply chains, and product characteristics, to help clarify the benefits and challenges of implementing DPPs. They aim to: 🔎 Explore and validate new business models 🧣 Understand the needs of SMEs in the textile sector ♻️ Support sustainable consumption patterns 🗒️ Develop sector-specific ontologies for DPPs Additionally, a CoP consultation is underway to design a framework that will gather insights on DPP-as-a-Service providers, including business models and service offerings. This information will support CIRPASS-2’s analysis of the DPPaaS ecosystem, ultimately informing the European Commission on future opportunities. We’re excited to be part of this journey towards a more sustainable and circular economy.
