🚀 PQHack 2025: Pushing the Boundaries of Quantum Learning! 🚀 Over the last weekend, in collaboration with Universidade do Porto and Universidade de Coimbra, we successfully organized the 2025 edition of PQHack – the Portuguese Quantum Hack! ✨ As part of the International Quantum Circuit (IQC25), PQHack serves as a key milestone leading up to QuantathonV2, the championship hackathon taking place in Columbia, South Carolina in Fall 2025. Over an intense 24-hour period, 39 participants in 12 teams tackled a series of Quantum Machine Learning (QML) challenges using Qadence. Many arrived with little to no prior experience in quantum computing, yet their progress in just one day was nothing short of remarkable! 🚀🔬 Even after a sleepless night, the enthusiasm for quantum learning remained high, with many students eager to keep exploring this exciting field. 👏 Congratulations to the winning teams! Over the past eight weeks, more than 800 participants from 70+ countries have been working alongside our technical experts to harness the power of Quantum AI for real-world impact. Yesterday, at the Business Day - AI Action Summit in Paris, we proudly announced the 15 finalist teams of The Blaise Pascal Quantum Challenge: Combining Quantum AI for Sustainable Innovation. 🎤 In the words of our Co-CEO and Co-founder Georges-Olivier REYMOND - “This hackathon puts quantum AI into the hands of innovators who are ready to wield its potential for global sustainable initiatives and shows that quantum is not just a future promise. 🚀 Wrapping up a full day at the AI Action Summit in Paris! 🌍✨ Pasqal had an incredible time engaging with global leaders, innovators, and policymakers to explore the transformative role quantum computing is already playing in shaping a sustainable and digital future. 🔹 A major highlight of the day: The roundtable discussion on “Quantum-AI Synergies: Driving Sustainable & Societal Changes in Practice”—moderated by Alexandra PAUL bringing together a stellar panel of experts: Bernard SALHA - EDF, our very own CEO and Co-founder Georges-Olivier REYMOND, Jean Fauquembergue - CMA CGM and Mehdi Snene, Ph.D. - United Nations.
