[Inside the Labs] 💡Did you know? Sickle cell disease is the first genetic disease in the world! Each year, an estimated 300,000 babies are born with this condition, two-thirds of whom are in sub-Saharan African region. And yet, it remains little known and largely absent from major international aid programs. 🌍 The Fondation Pierre Fabre has been combating sickle cell disease for over 16 years now.
