We added about 100 new customers since we released our new AI model earlier this year. Here are the main differences and comparisons of our old model vs. the new one (number 3 is what I see most furniture people care about): (1) Smarter AI Before, our AI could understand more or less 60-70 words to describe your room. Of course, sometimes you need way more than just 60 words to describe your ideal room - that's why our new AI basically has no limit on room descriptions. You can give it more than 300 words of description and it will still give you pretty much all of the elements you mentioned in your final image. (2) More creative AI Part of having a Smarter AI is also that it's more creative now. You can describe things like camera blur, fore- and back-ground elements covering the virtual camera lens, humans, and basically any visual cue previously not understood by our AI. Check out the images below and let me know if you can see it. (3) Exponentially more variations If you think about the number of variations that exist under a 60-70 word constraint, and compare it to +300 word descriptions, you basically get an explosion of room variations. This means you can basically describe your room in such great detail, that it makes it impossible for someone else using Presti to get the same room. There are obviously way more subtle differences, like increased image fidelity, more realistic rooms, and higher quality, but I'll keep some of those for another post. Below are some examples of our old AI vs. our new AI - leave a comment on what you think and try it out for free now!

My favourite Presti (YC S24) use case? Without a second of doubt Outdoor Furniture – Furniture Today agrees (Link in comments). “We pretty much rented out most luxury villas on the West Coast over the last couple of years." That’s what a prospect in the outdoor furniture space recently told me. Since they’re doing all their lifestyle imagery with photography, finding new locations can really become a bottleneck – one of the reasons they’ve been exploring AI instead. I did a quick search online to see how much renting a beach side villa in California costs for a day, and at the high end it can easily be a couple thousand $$$$. Now imagine this: - You pay $1000 to rent a beach side villa for a day - You pay $6000 for a team of creatives (photographer, set designer, etc.) - You spend days bringing all your furniture to the location (or paid someone to do it)... Just to find out that the weather forecast for that day was wrong and it’s cloudy all day. All your money and time just went to waste. Is this a risk worth taking? Some say it’s a risk inherent to outdoor, but with Presti (YC S24)'s AI you don’t have to worry about that, since you can just dictate what kind of weather you want, and, unlike 3D rendering, AI is *seriously* good at rendering outdoor details like trees, leaves, etc. (the best part: you can try it for free). Furniture Today featured us in an article about the difficulties outdoor furniture struggle with specifically, and why AI is one of the obvious solutions many marketing teams are looking at. "We spend a lot of time playing around with AI. I need to understand what we're not going to do and what it is capable of." — Alex Bernhardt, Jr., CEO of Bernhardt Furniture Bernhardt Furniture has been around for 135 years, making it one of the leading (and oldest) brands in the furniture world—and they’ve started testing AI for imagery. In a recent episode of the Business of Home Podcast with (awesome) host Dennis Scully, their CEO Alexander Bernhardt shared insights on the company’s AI experiments. The furniture industry isn’t exactly known for being on the cutting edge when it comes to tech, but when a legacy brand like Bernhardt starts exploring AI, you know things are changing. It’s a sign of where we’re headed—and it makes me optimistic. Oh, and those dressers with feathers and female heads? If you’re using Presti (YC S24) AI, you won’t have to worry about that. 😉 Link to the full episode in the first comment 👇

One of our customers just forwarded me an email thread between him and the CGI agency he used to work with, and I was shocked 🤯 ! "On the roomset, I have a couple of small amends myself, I have added these below. We can jump on a call to run through. - Could we add some décor to the dining table—maybe a vase or some plates? - Add more texture to the walls - Shift the camera slightly to capture more of the dining chairs and less of the sofa - Soften the wall color—perhaps a warmer cream instead of bright white - Ceiling feels a bit dark—lighten if possible - The outside view might be too bright/distracting - Consider adding wall art in the gap between the two doorways - Add a bit of dust to the windows for realism" You get the idea… he was basically describing to a human something he could just have described to Presti (YC S24) and get done is a few prompts rather than wasting weeks of back and forth for revisions. Is this an email you could have written? If so, I have something for you in the first comment of this post – check it out!
