We are happy to announce that the PyData Paris conference has successfully returned! After a couple of quiet years, the event came back in full force, bringing together a vibrant community of data scientists, data engineers, developers, academics, and students. For two days, participants gathered at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie to exchange knowledge, showcase cutting-edge developments, and learn from one another in a truly inspiring environment. The energy and engagement we witnessed were a testament to the power of community and knowledge-sharing in data science and technology. Participants not only benefited from the sessions but also engaged in lively discussions and networking, building connections that will continue to strengthen the PyData community in France and beyond. One of the projects I have been working on in my first year at QuantStack is a terminal for JupyterLite to provide a command line bash-like shell in the JupyterLab distribution that runs entirely within the browser. During almost 3 years I have been able to contribute to Open Source mainly on the Apache Arrow project. I've worked with a lot of really talented people and I want to continue both working in Open Source and with talented people. That's why I am happy to announce that I will join QuantStack and Antoine Pitrou to keep working and contributing to the Arrow project and the related ecosystem of Open Source projects. I am grateful to QuantStack for stepping up and starting a new Apache Arrow dedicated team.
