📣 New team member at Qucit Otmane Boushaba joins the Qucit team as a Back-end Engineer. 🔍 Who is Otmane? He is a back-end engineer with a degree from ENSIM Ecole d'ingénieurs Le Mans Université in Human-System Interaction, where he develops robust and innovative technical solutions. His expertise spans across various areas of computer science, with a particular affinity for Python - a nod to his name which means "Snake Man". Passionate about web development, he finds balance in sports as a Real Madrid supporter and expresses his creativity through art and DJing. 🚲 His vision of bike? “Cycling is the only means of transport that gives me real freedom of movement in Bordeaux. I use it every day to get to work and to weave my way through traffic jams. I also like to visit cities by bike when they are well developed, and I hope that this will soon become the norm”. Here's a highlights of this season: ▪Trade shows: The team participed to some major events of micromobility such as, North American Bikeshare & Scootershare Association NABSA 2024 North America's leading micromobility conference 🇺🇸 and Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona 🇪🇸. ▪Partner meetings: During our cross-Atlantic tour, we met with our partners Bicycle Transit Systems, operator of the Indego Bike Share system in Philadelphia 🇺🇸 , and Velosolutions Canada Est, operator of the àVélo system financed by Capitale Mobilité in Quebec City 🇨🇦 . ▪Event: Back in Bordeaux, we organized our meetup on "What kind of urban culture is needed for a bike-sharing system to win people's hearts in the US?" 🚀 Retour sur la participation de Qucit au BDX I/O 2024 ! 🚀 Le 8 novembre dernier, l'équipe Qucit Michał Mięsiak, Paul Maribon-Ferret Karl Jakelski, Manon Vergès, Elise Combes, et Youssef Ben Salah a eu le plaisir de participer à BDX I/O l’un des grands événements tech de la région bordelaise, rassemblant des passionnés de programmation, de nouvelles technologies et d'innovation, avec pour thème cette année “IA : entre progrès et préoccupations”.
