Recently, an article misquoted our CEO, suggesting that the Renault brand will comply with the CAFE 2025 target. Although this has now been clarified, it has led to some misunderstandings about the Group's position, that we would like to address. For months, OEMs have raised concerns about the decline in EV demand in Europe, impacting the new CAFE criteria. Renault Group stands by this position, supported by leading forecasts. Our Commitment to Reducing CO2 Emissions: At Renault Group, we are dedicated to reducing CO2 emissions through our brands. Scenic and Renault 5, winners of two consecutive Car of the Year (COTY) awards, along with Megane and Renault 4, contribute to a higher share of EV sales within the Renault brand compared to others in our Group. Addressing 2025 Targets: The 2025 targets remain a concern for all European OEMs. Renault Group and ACEA have consistently highlighted that the risk of penalties could lead to industry-disruptive measures. We believe this remains true. Proposed Solutions: The proposal of the automotive industry for an average over 5 years, with a plan to support EV demand, would be a solution to be able to comply with the regulations over this period.

AI is transforming manufacturing, and we’re making it real. At the AI Action Summit, Christian Serrano, Supply Chain AI Manager, showcased Control Tower, a digital cockpit that detects risks before they escalate, keeping our supply chain agile and resilient. Francois Lavernos, Renault brand and Industry CIO, then joined Siemens and Schneider Electric to share how AI is already optimizing quality, inventory, energy, and production cycles. More than automation, it’s about augmented intelligence—where tech amplifies human expertise to drive real innovation. Smarter tech, smarter ways of working: the AI revolution is here. 🚀
AI is transforming our industry at a pace we could only imagine few years ago. Today ,I had the opportunity of discussing this profound shift at the #AIActionSummit, where it became even more evident that #Artificialintelligence is not just a tool it's an accelerator that's reshaping how we innovate, optimize and drive competitiveness across industries. At @Renaut Group ,we're already seeing it revolutionize every part of our operations. From improving product quality to streamlining inventory management, and from optimizing #energy consumption to reducing cycle times, these systems are unlocking new levels of performance. Real-world use cases are already delivering tangible results across our plants and supply chains. Our journey focuses on two key ressources : data and people . #data is our core foundation, not just in scale but in quality. But equally critical is the human factor. That's why we focus on Augmented intelligence, where tech amplifies human capabilities, enabling people/team to solve complex problems/situation in new ways and drive #innovation across business. the future of #manufacturing is bright , and tech innovation is at the heart ot that transformation .it's not just about smarter machines, it's about smarter ways of working, driven by both technology and the people who bring it to life !

At Renault Group, AI is not just a buzzword, but a concrete reality underpinned by 10 years of collecting and organising data in an industrial metaverse.
