Highlighting Universal Thanks at Our Ogden Office! We are excited to share a special initiative at our Ogden office: the Universal Thanks Recognition Program — a program for all Amer Sports employees located in Ogden that allows team members to express their appreciation through personalized thank-you cards. These cards are a way to recognize colleagues who have gone above and beyond, making a positive impact on our workplace. Each Universal Thanks card is displayed on our recognition board, along with a photo of the recognized team member. This not only celebrates individual achievements but also fosters a culture of appreciation and teamwork. And you, who would you like to thank? At Salomon, we seek to unleash the best in people through mountain sports. We are thrilled to have supported Kevin, Sembène, and Patrick on their incredible journey through one of the wildest alpine regions in Europe. Their adventure was more than just a trail run; it was a tribute to the purest form of running, a deep connection with nature, and a testament to the human spirit. They showed us that with preparation, belief in oneself, and a willingness to embrace the elements, anything is possible. It was about exploring the depths of our capabilities — physically, mentally, and spiritually. It was about the joy and freedom found in the great outdoors and the bonds formed through shared experiences. “We hoped to open doors with this project and to be an inspiration for communities/runners with different ethnic backgrounds, mixed cultures, and people of color that are less represented in an alpine terrain or even in other parts of the outdoor world.” Together, we continue to push boundaries and inspire others to dream big. “Ticking off my first 50km race was a truly unique and unforgettable landmark. Having François D'Haene run with me made the experience even more special and amazing. His support and guidance making every step of the way feel even more fun and easier, turning this into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.” - Fred Zhang, Senior Retail HRBP of Salomon China A few weeks ago, at the Tsaigu 50K in China's Zhejiang Province, ultra running legend François D'Haene paced and supported Fred from Salomon China through his first 50K, all the way to the finish line. "Crossing that finish line was a triumph not just over the distance but over my own limitations. And I'm already setting my sights on new heights, eager to push my boundaries even further!", said Fred. Congratulations Fred! And you, who would you want for company in an ultra? #Salomon

“When I saw this race, I thought that it looked like the most horrific race on earth.” — Dave Pen When the Salomon footwear team was developing the S/LAB GENESIS SPINE, they knew they wanted to test it in the wildest, most challenging conditions imaginable. So, when Dave Pen — singer, guitarist, and songwriter in the progressive/alternative rock collective Archive, and friend of the brand — told them he was going back to The Spine Race, they knew they’d found the perfect race. A 268-mile footrace up the spine of England, The Spine Race is as ferocious as the dragon its name conjures up. It’s known for its bleak, brutal winter conditions, sparse support, and rugged terrain. A journey from heaven to hell, and back, that Dave completed in 145 hours. #Salomon
