Here are the key recommendations from the Second Syrian Civil Society International Conference on Chemical Weapons: Accountability for chemical weapons use: States Parties must encourage the enforcement of international arrest warrants against Syrian officials responsible for chemical weapons attacks. Justice for victims must be a priority. Unified international action is critical: In accordance with Article 12(3) of the Chemical Weapons Convention, States Parties should take collective measures to address ongoing violations and prevent further harm. Support Syrian civil society: Syrian civil society is vital in documenting chemical weapons attacks and driving accountability.
