The world of fragrances embodies sophistication and beauty. Premium fragrances move and sign the uniqueness of a product, offering excellent olfactory experiences. Fragrance house SFA - Société Française d'Aromatiques® was born in this spirit in 1963 in Grasse, the cradle of modern perfumery, in the South of France. The company was directed for over 40 years by one of the few female leaders in the industry who made it a prestigious setting. Meantime, NEROLI FRANCE is the result of the merger of fragrance houses CREATIONS & PARFUMS and FLORESSENCE. Created in the 1980s, the two brands are built on the savoir-faire of beautiful raw materials, from the cultivation of natural ingredients to their transformation, offering their domestic and international clients high quality fragrance compositions. This ensemble called SFA NEROLI brings together passionate experts of the perfume industry in the pure “Pays de Grasse” tradition promoting its craftsmanship worldwide, proudly bearing the trademark Grasse Expertise. Property of Symrise AG since 2022, this group works independently, constituting an important center of excellence for French perfumery.

    ESXENCE is a very special exhibition: one dedicated to artistic perfumery. 🇮🇹 Our teams would not have missed it for the world: welcome to Milan for the 15th edition of Esxence. It is an opportunity to celebrate the talent and creativity of master perfumers, with the Masters of Dreams concept as the leitmotif of this special edition. A tribute to the modern alchemists who shape the invisible material to create essences that enchant and tell timeless stories. Our colleagues from R&D, Marketing and Sales took the opportunity to stock up on the latest trends in high-end perfumery, between innovation and tradition. It was also an opportunity to meet the personalities who count in the world of perfumery, to meet our clients for whom we have created bespoke essences and to explore all the possibilities of niche perfumery, which allows us to tell unique and magical stories.     Scent has always been part of our lives, but its use and symbolism have evolved over the centuries. Let us take you on an olfactory journey where perfume is transformed and emancipated but always retains its universal power of expression ✈ In antiquity, the sacred and the divine The first traces of perfumery date back to antiquity, when essences were extracted from plants and resins for religious rituals. Incense, myrrh, and perfumed oils were offered to the gods as symbols of purity and devotion. The Middle Ages: health care and frivolity Perfume was discouraged by the clergy, who associated it with superficiality and inconsistency. At the same time, perfumes were closely associated with apothecaries' shops, where medicinal plants were stocked. At a time when water was scarce, perfumes played a key role in masking everyday odours. Renaissance, refinement and the art of living With the flowering of the arts, perfume became a refined luxury, worn by the nobility and the elite. In Grasse, the cultivation of flowers such as roses and jasmine flourished thanks to an ideal climate and fertile soil, making the region the cradle of exceptional expertise. It was also during this period that perfumed gloves were invented: the beginning of the region's reputation as the Mecca of the perfume industry. Modern times, a glorious industry Perfume is synonymous with luxury. It represents wealth, opulence, and refinement. Technological advances have allowed the industry to develop and offer a variety of fragrances that can be adapted to changing fashions and tastes. At the same time, Grasse has established itself as the world capital of perfume. Its emblematic flower fields, passionate craftsmen and unique distillation techniques have created a heritage that endures to this day. The region combines respect for nature and modernity with sustainable initiatives led by Jérôme Viaud, Renaud MUSELIER, Grasse Expertise to preserve this unique heritage in the face of environmental challenges.

Here are our 3 tips for choosing the perfume that will touch your Valentine 💘 👉 Perfume should reflect character Romantic and gentle, opt for delicate floral notes such as rose, jasmine or orange blossom. Energetic and dynamic, choose sparkling citrus or light aquatic notes. Sophisticated and mysterious, woody, amber or spicy scents. 👉 Get to know his/her tastes If your fiancé already wears a fragrance, what is its characteristic: floral, fruity, woody or oriental? The idea is to choose a composition from the same olfactory family. 👉 Tell a story A fragrance is an invitation to travel and to feel. Choose a composition that evokes a shared memory, a dream destination, or a precious moment spent together. Like the first time you walked hand in hand by the sea, with salty, aquatic notes.     "The Floral family is one of the oldest in perfumery; for centuries, mankind has sought to capture the beauty and fragrance of flowers 🌼 Rose, Jasmine, Narcissus, Tuberose, Orange Blossom, and Mimosa reign in the Grasse region. But they are not the only ones to have inspired some of the most beautiful perfume creations. Some of the finest floral scents come from what are known as 'mute' flowers, whose essence cannot be directly extracted. Take Lily of the Valley or Violet, for example—perfumers have long struggled to capture their enchanting fragrance. These challenges have led to creative, figurative interpretations, often in the form of 'soliflore' compositions (single-note perfumes). With ingenuity, perfumers have also crafted splendid 'floral bouquet' accords, blending multiple floral notes to immortalize the beauty of flowers. This is the magic of perfumery 💐 🌺 Deemed fresh, sensual, spicy, powdery, aldehydic—often rare and precious—Floral perfumes can be both simple and complex, innocent yet eccentric, and always captivating. This olfactory family is timeless, with endless possibilities and an enduring fascination."
