On December 2, Sonepar and ESCP Business School inaugurated their Chair (academic program) “New platform strategies” in Paris. The program, led by Frédéric Fréry aims at developing innovative research and preparing tomorrow's leaders to meet the challenges of strategic platforms, particularly in B2B formats and omnichannel approaches. 💻 The ceremony, hosted by ESCP, was held in the presence of ESCP’s Managing Director Leon Laulusa, Sonepar President & CEO Philippe Delpech and Chief Transformation Officer Jeremie Profeta. In anticipation of the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Sonepar France hosted a series of impactful initiatives during the 28th edition of European Disability Employment Week, reinforcing its commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace. 🤝 The company strengthened its partnership with Special Olympics, with associates participating in relay events alongside athletes across the country. 🙋 Associates shared their stories through video profiles, and more than 500 associates attended awareness webinars. 👥 'Duo Day' saw 11 pairings between Sonepar associates and individuals with disabilities, providing valuable opportunities for mutual learning and collaboration. 👟 Over 1,200 associates joined the Association ELA’s #MetstesBaskets event, collectively achieving 11 million steps for charity. To conclude this initiative, President Leopold Bernard presented a €10,000 cheque to the ELA Association, joined by its President crystelle cottart, and Paralympic wheelchair rugby player Corentin Le Guen PLY.
