Accelerating scientific innovation towards social justice and environmental issues

🧠 ❓Grant proposal Impact Section: do you know what evaluators want? Our internal independent expert recently analyzed AI research projects. One thing is clear: the societal impact is often poorly understood. Many proposals remain vague, without indicators or a concrete action plan. To convince, you must at least: - Identify specific target groups - Define a geographic area - Quantify the expected effects - Use scientific measurement methods Without these elements, promises remain hollow. Be specific. This is the key to making your projects have a real impact. We’ll be hosting a free 45-minute webinar where I'll break down: - The most common mistakes and real examples of what not to do - What and you should specify - Live Q&A to solve your questions Perfect for: Research teams and Europe department Limited spots. 🔍 Inside Horizon Europe Impact Section Experts’ Mind: Impact Section Red Flags Hear from an evaluator that recently reviewed Research & Innovation AI projects and her point of view about the quality of proposals regarding the impact section. Here’s a short extract from a Q&A session on impact section in research projects, and the worst impact pitfalls we see way too often: 🚩 Generic statements that could apply to any project 🚩 Impact sections that read like wishful thinking 🚩 Vague claims with zero measurable outcomes 🚩 AI-generated lists without genuine reflection or strategic prioritization Don’t assume impact is obvious, even in areas like climate tech or health Personal reflection remains essential to stand out. Understanding what evaluators are looking for is crucial to develop a strong and compelling proposal. Want to know how to concretely transform your impact section from 👎🏼 to 👍🏼? We’ll be hosting a free 45-minute webinar where I'll break down: - The most common mistakes - Real examples of what not to do - Proven strategies evaluators love - Live Q&A to solve your specific questions Perfect for: Research teams and Europe department Limited spots.
