This week, the Northern Europe team at #AVEVA participated in a Climate Fresk Workshop organized with STEPS, diving deep into the causes, effects, and consequences of climate change. 🌍 The workshop focused on three critical aspects: 1. *Understanding the Causes:* Exploring the science behind climate change to uncover how human activities contribute to rising greenhouse gases. 2. *Mapping the Effects:* Connecting the dots to understand the widespread environmental, societal, and economic impacts of climate change. 3. *Recognizing the Consequences:* Discussing the urgent need for sustainable action to mitigate the long-term effects on our planet. #Sustainability is at the core of AVEVA’s mission. 📢 EBS Le Relais Val de Seine - Emmaüs fait son #bilancarbone avec STEPS et Bpifrance. 👨 ->🏬 Après avoir fait l'exercice plusieurs fois à mon échelle personnelle, je suis très fier de participer à la réalisation du bilan carbone de mon entreprise ! 👕 Le secteur textile, comme tout autre secteur, émet des gaz à effet de serre. Etant acteur de l'économie circulaire, nous participons à limiter cette empreinte en favorisant le réemploi et le recyclage des vêtements, linge et chaussures... mais au fait, de combien parle-t-on ? 🎯 Ce bilan a pour objectif de mesurer l'impact de notre activité sur le climat, afin d'identifier comment en réduire les effets négatifs et en maximiser les effets positifs. C'est la première étape de l'un des axes stratégiques définis par notre Conseil d'Administration : la réalisation de notre transition écologique. Car nous avons beau être écologiquement engagés depuis notre création, nous pensons qu'il y a toujours de la place pour s'améliorer. 🤝 Merci à Paul Druesne et Frédéric Schorgen - clin d'oeil au réseau On Purpose Paris ! - pour votre accompagnement, et merci aux équipes impliquées en interne (Emilie, Nathalie, Mirana, Mourad, Floriane entre autres) pour vos apports dans la collecte des données. 🌍 #earthday2024, this year again, discover all the initiatives around the world organized by Amundi teams!   🌿 A large program in all the countries to take action in #GoGreen activities:   👉 Globally, after the deployment of the #ClimateFresk with the participation of more than 3 600 employees, we have the opportunity this week to attend the immersive workshop 2tonnes to explore the future as a team and try to limit climate change by reaching 2 tonnes of carbon footprint per year and per person, by 2050. In 3 hours, we discover the individual and collective levers of the transition to a low-carbon society.   👉 A digital guide explaining how to reduce our impact on the environment by adopting the right #ecofriendlydigital gestures is also shared.   👉 Locally numerous actions will take place thanks to the commitment of Amundi employees: In Americas, local #cleanup and workshops will be organized. Amundi Iberia will focus on avoiding the use of plastic bags and will share tips to be more #sustainable. In Austria, the teams will focus on waste separation by proposing "Waste Workout" workshops. In Czech Republic a car-free day is organized as well as a tree planting session and the introduction of bio-waste composters in Amundi’s kitchen.  In France, an awareness-raising week is organized with 3 workshops on #wastemanagement #watermanagement and #decarbonization. Amundi Germany sets a challenge for employees to consume only 2 tonnes per year as well as a waste collection campaign with the city of Munich. In Hungary, the teams will plant trees in the garden of a kindergarten to give shade for the children. In Ireland, a team of volunteers will undertake a ‘Great Clean-Up’ day and share an update on our #ClimateFresk and Forest projects. Amundi Japan will conduct an internal survey on environmental awareness and a selected idea will be implemented. Amundi UK will organize a clean-up session and invites its employees to join the Great Global CleanUp.   Thank you to all the participants! Especially Mado BELAUNZARAN Léa D. What a #sustainable day in Madrid!!! ♻ AVEVA Iberia sets the energy transition and decarbonization as its core strategy. In order to do so, we had the Climate Performance day to work around 3 main pillars: 1️⃣ 🤓 Understand the impact of human activities and the sense of urgency to act by leveraging the La Fresque du Climat methodology 2️⃣ ✅ Assess how we can help our customers and partners to leverage our portfolio to improve operations and Scope 1, 2 & 3 3️⃣ 📊 Measure and improve our daily operations carbon footprint I was impressed of the team's commitment on this very important challenge. More than 50 people joining forces together to make a sustainable impact in our society. Awesome!. All the day's goals were achieved thank to the great coaching of Paul Druesne and his team during the day. They ensured a great energy during all the different activities. I would like to give an special thanks to Olga Garcia Frey and Joaquim Daura Ayza from Schneider Electric for the support on the logistics. Special mention to Gabriela Serrano Villalobos and Ana V. for the excellent organization and all the AVEVA participants. Last but not least, big kudos to Guillaume Boué for inspiring and leading by example to set the #sustainability at the core of our strategy. Now the ball is in our court!.
