Funding award from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for commercializing breakthrough CO2 to ethylene technology 🧪 The Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations | U.S. Department of Energy has authorized the initiation of Phase 1 of the Sustainable Ethylene from CO2 Utilization with Renewable Energy Project (Project SECURE) and committed up to $200 million in federal funding throughout the project duration. We lead Project SECURE in partnership with LanzaTech and during this initial phase of the project, along with LanzaTech, we will conduct a Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) study, developing project plans, providing documentation and reports necessary to complete the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review. Major contract award in the UK for a world first carbon capture project 🏆 Along with our consortium partner GE Vernova and our construction partner Balfour Beatty plc, with the support of our technology partner Shell Catalysts & Technologies, we were awarded a major contract for the Net Zero Teesside Power project in the UK. This landmark project leverages our Canopy by T.EN™ solution powered by Shell’s CANSOLV CO2 Capture System and aims to be the world’s first gas-fired power station with carbon capture, expecting to capture up to 2 million tonnes of CO2 per year 🏗️ The plant could produce up to 742 megawatts of flexible, low-carbon power, equivalent to the average annual electricity requirements of more than 1 million UK homes ⚡ Supported by the UK government with a £21.7bn pledge for carbon capture projects, the project has the potential to create and support more than 3,000 construction jobs and then generate 1,000 jobs annually during operations 👷   Read our press release: https://lnkd.in/e8nXJ_nc #BePartOfTheSolution #NetZeroTeesside #CarbonCapture #CanopybyTEN

🤝  Working together to raise the bar on human rights with collective business action 🤝 Last week, we hosted the bi-annual member meeting of Building Responsibly at our Paris headquarters for the first time. Building Responsibly a group of leading engineering and construction companies working together to raise the bar in promoting the rights and welfare of workers across the industry. We welcomed 33 members from 16 companies, including Bechtel Corporation, bp, BW Offshore, Consolidated Contractors Company, Exyte, Fluor Corporation, Ipieca, JGC, Saipem, Shell, Subsea7, TechnipFMC, VINCI, Wood, and Worley.  The two-day event served as an opportunity for members to review the year, share progress from working groups, and identify priorities for 2025. Each company also had the chance to showcase their best practices, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration. While the dedication of Building Responsibly to advance human rights is already deeply embedded in our core values, being part of Building Responsibly and adhering to its principles allows us to communicate our expectations to subcontractors and suppliers, thereby influencing positive change in our industry.   Progress requires collective effort. Bridging prosperity and sustainability for a world designed to last 🌍 Today, during our Capital Markets Day, we shared insights on our strategy and our positive business outlook, highlighting our journey since 2021 and our plans for the future. Here are three key factors supporting our outlook: ➡️ Strong market growth and business diversification across our four key markets: energy, energy derivatives such as ethylene, decarbonization solutions including carbon capture, clean hydrogen and sustainable fuels, and circularity markets.  ➡️ Attractive €75 billion commercial opportunity set, well balanced by market and geography, with one-third of that €75 billion dedicated to decarbonization markets ➡️ Balance sheet strength with more than €1 billion of available firepower (adjusted for project-associated cash) and sustainable cash flow generation Based on our current outlook, we announced our financial guidance for 2025 and the medium-term framework for 2028: ✅ Revenue of €5.0 – 5.4bn with an EBITDA margin of around 8% for our Project Delivery segment in 2025 ✅ Revenue of €2.0 – 2.2bn with an EBITDA margin of approximately 13.5% for our Technology, Products & Services (TPS) segment in 2025 ✅ Expected revenue to exceed €6.0bn with an EBITDA margin of about 8.5% for our Project Delivery segment in 2028 ✅ Expected revenue to surpass €2.6bn with an EBITDA margin of around 14.5% for our TPS segment in 2028 As a technology and engineering powerhouse, we will play an even more prominent role in the future, leveraging our differentiation to capture more growth and more value.
