Do you know that the average human being consumes 48kg of plastics every year? And that at least 8 million tons of plastics are discharged into the oceans annually? The Deep Ocean Project is developing artificial intelligence tools to detect plastic pollution in satellite images. We help government, companies and NGO assess the scale of plastic pollution and make cost efficient plans for its remediation.
