Renewable hydrogen: a strategic step forward at La Mède. 🏭 As part of its ambition to decarbonize the hydrogen used by its European #refineries operations by 2030, TotalEnergies has joined forces with Air Liquide to produce renewable #hydrogen at La Mède in southeast France. This project will permit: ✅ The reduction of our CO₂ emissions by 15,000 tonnes per year. ✅ The production of hydrogen at La Mède with an annual capacity of 25,000 tonnes, recycling co-products from the biorefinery. ✅Supporting the production of biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel (#SAF), reducing CO2 emissions by 130,000 tonnes a year. 🔗 To learn more, check out our press release: https://lnkd.in/eFqn6fha
