Last week, we had our first Online Workshops with cohort 6 of Time to Raise. We had the pleasure of listening to Joel Uddén at Ventech and discuss the topic of Meeting Investors - What to Prepare. The workshop was very interactive and some of the key takeaways were: ➡️ Understanding what type of firms within Venture Capital are right for you: Ferrari-firms or Fiats? ➡️ The importance of building trust over time: be on time, do what you say you will do, realistic forecasts, manage expectations, do not lie. ➡️ Have a clear communication and trust the listener! La semaine dernière, avec Lorraine GOUMOT et Amaury de Tonquédec sur le plateau de BFM Business, nous avons parlé des grandes mutations technologiques mondiales en cours, mais aussi de ce qui agite la French Tech en ce moment.    🚨Une immense opportunité — et un avertissement 🚨   1/ L'opportunité :   Avec la possibilité (encore lointaine) d’un démantèlement de #Google, nous pourrions vivre une vague d’innovations comparables à ce que l’on a vu avec la scission d’AT&T dans les années 90 et qui a mené à … Internet. À court terme, une régulation plus stricte des géants de la tech pourrait offrir d’énormes opportunités aux AdTech construites depuis la France comme Criteo, Ogury,Olyzon, xpln.ai, Teads et bien d'autres.   2/ L'avertissement :   Attention à ne pas casser la marque "France" ! Nous sommes un pays majeur de l’innovation et le projet de #PLF25 pourrait ralentir cet élan. Les startups françaises, c’est 1,3 million d’emplois directs et indirects - et c’est loin d’être fini ! 50 % de ces emplois sont en dehors de l'Ile-de-France. Alors si on réduit le soutien, ça freinera forcément la dynamique..   Restons optimistes.
