A l’époque au niveau des bureaux d’études de la SNTF et notamment celui des anciens ateliers du Hamma il y avait une structure qui était chargée de l’intégration nationale … structure qui a malheureusement disparue … SNTF gagnerait à créer une structure au niveau centrale qui doit piloter et créer les conditions de nature à développer l’industrie ferroviaire avec des partenaires nationaux publics ou privés (comme ENCC, Ferrovial, etc…) et des partenaires étrangers détenteurs de technologies … ces partenariats créeront les conditions favorables pour tisser un véritable réseau de sous traitants garantissant la disponibilité de la piece de rechange (notamment les pièces stratégiques et de consommations courantes) condition sine qua none pour assurer une maintenance de qualité … une disponibilité , une fiabilité et la durabilité du matériel … Plus important encore …l’autonomie nécessaire pour réduire autant que possible l’importation de la PR et la dépendance de l’étranger …! #SNTF #Transport #Ferroviaire #XMT #HamidOUAR #Adjoutdjamel https://lnkd.in/dnNMHDCi

****************************************************** UNIQUE FEATURES OF SWRO PLANTS UMM AL HOUL EXPANSION SWRO PLANT - QATAR A VERY UNIQUE DESIGN OF SW SUPPLY ******************************************************** The construction of intake for the RO expansion was a very significant constraint for implementing project due to the new environmental permits required for the construction, and the project execution schedule which could jeopardize financially the new infrastructure development. The Power and existing Desalination Plants intake did not have enough capacity to provide the seawater supply required for the RO expansion Plant (30,000 m3/h) with the level of redundancy required for reliable design. The Power Plant intake consists of eight (8) cooling water pumps with one (1) common spare for providing a seawater flowrate of 930,000 m3/day for each of the four condenser lines. The EPC Contractor ACCIONAA developed an innovative proposal for supplying 30,000 m3/h from the cooling water headers to feed the RO expansion Plant and balancing the seawater subtraction flow with the brine reinjection from the two (2) RO Plants. The total mass balance resulted in 20% of the cooling water flow being RO brine and an increment in the salinity of the cooling water to the condensers of 15%, the condenser vendor´s warranty was updated with the new salinity. The slight increase of temperature in cooling water lines due to the brine reinjection did not impact on the design of the existing cooling system. Alternative operational scenarios were studied, control valves and flowmeters were installed on the brine pumps discharge and an overflow of total capacity was required in the brine pit to cope with all the production scenarios of the power plant and variations in sea water temperature.
