Guess what? Our iconic teal bins and trays are undergoing a stylish transformation—they're turning grey! We're embracing this change for a very good reason: to gradually introduce recycled plastic as a primary component in our Skypod® Systems. This decision stems from our contribution to sustainability, and we're already seeing a significant impact! The first batch of grey bins deployed on our European customer sites in 2023 has resulted in a remarkable reduction of 3801 tons of CO2 emissions and 2930 tons of virgin plastic. I recently spoke with Denis Fainsilber of Les Echos on UPS's latest sustainability initiatives. I talked about our exciting rollout of 100+ new IVECO electric vehicles (EVs) in #Paris, with more than 600 EVs expected across Europe by the end of the year. Plus, our electric-assist quadricycles operating in France. The eQuads are built to navigate pedestrianized areas and low-emission zones.
