🌟 At the end of a packed afternoon at our ‘Towards A Space-Powered Economy’ conference, we’ve been inspired by pitches from 20 companies showcasing projects which will make use of satellite technologies and data in sustainable solutions for our planet. Thank you for pitching: Bilmo, BatteryCycle, Hermes Traffic Intelligence, Tunnll, Latitudo 40, i-EM, Space Solar, SolarCleano, Safeback, ICEYE, Space4Good, Kayrros, Trade in Space, MPC Research, Marple, Krucial, e.Ray Europa GmbH, Scalian, Plastic-i and My Coast Limited. Our judging panel, Rita Rinaldo, Head of Applications, Studies and Projects Division, European Space Agency - ESA, Agata Bendik, Senior Programme Manager, Plug and Play UK, Simon Atkinson, Advisor, Prototypes for Humanity and Kemil Thomas, Principal Partnerships Manager, UCL Innovation & Enterprise now have the unenviable task of selecting the pitch which demonstrated the highest overall impact, taking into account economic, societal and environmental impact. To round off the day, Ian Forbes, Managing Partner for Europe and the Middle East, The Artemis Partnership shared his valuable insights into ‘What it Takes to Win Major Pitches’.
