HLD pour la Méditerranée et PURE OCEAN au cœur du programme Erasmus +

Dans le cadre de son partenariat avec Pure Ocean Fund, le Fonds HLD pour la Méditerranée participe tout au long de l’année au projet Européen Erasmus+, « Sharing Ocean Science for responsible business » (SOS).  Retour sur une session collaborative inspirante et constructive à l’université de La Sapienza…

 Un projet européen éclectique

Le Projet Européen SOS est avant tout une initiative à l’échelle de l’Europe visant à intégrer davantage la science au cœur des entreprises comme un levier de transformation au service de l’environnement. Ce programme collaboratif doit également favoriser une prise de conscience des décideurs et permettre de définir certaines actions concrètes pour préserver le milieu marin.

Sous l’impulsion de Pure Ocean Fund , le Fonds HLD pour la Méditerranée participe ainsi à un travail collaboratif qui réunit universitaires, scientifiques, entreprises, associations ou fondations de plusieurs nationalités et origines pour partager le savoir, les expériences et faire converger différentes approches vers des solutions concrètes.

Une approche collégiale

Après une première phase de travail à Marseille pour baliser le périmètre du chantier et déterminer les objectifs de cette entreprise, une deuxième session a réuni à Rome les 16 et 17 avril derniers, une douzaine de membres du projet afin de consolider la trajectoire et d’identifier les atterrissages concrets de ce travail collégial.

Cette démarche de Design thinking, dans le cadre de workshops d’idéation au cœur de l’Université de Sapienza, a permis de faire émerger des premiers constats et d’orienter la collaboration vers des solutions à impact.

Ce travail s’est également appuyé sur l’interview et le témoignage de plusieurs dirigeants d’entreprise pour mieux comprendre leurs enjeux mais aussi identifier les difficultés et les opportunités qu’une telle démarche pourrait initier.

Le croisement des regards

Entre chaque session de travail, les participants continuent d’avancer pour nourrir chaque nouvelle rencontre. Ainsi, la prochaine réunion, dite de « prototypage », à Samos en Juin prochain, devrait permettre de formaliser certains livrables et de structurer une approche plus pérenne.

L’esprit très constructif et engagé issu du croisement de regards venus du monde de l’entreprise, de la recherche ou encore du milieu associatif, donne un relief particulier aux échanges et favorise la prise en compte de réalités parfois éloignées.

Il ne s’agit donc pas d’opposer les points de vue, mais bien de partager des problématiques et des réalités vécues par l’ensemble des participants pour faire converger une réflexion qui associe engagement, responsabilité, action… et business.

A l’issue de ces différentes phases, le Groupe de travail proposera ses conclusions dans le courant du mois d’Octobre.

An eclectic European project

The European SOS Project is first and foremost a Europe-wide initiative aimed at integrating science more fully into the heart of companies as a lever for transformation to benefit the environment. This collaborative program is also intended to raise awareness among decision-makers and help define concrete actions to preserve the marine environment.

Under the impetus of PURE OCEAN, the HLD Fund for the Mediterranean is taking part in a collaborative effort that brings together academics, scientists, companies, associations and foundations of many nationalities and origins, to share knowledge and experience, and bring together different approaches towards concrete solutions.

A collective approach

After an initial phase of work in Marseille to define the scope of the project and determine its objectives, a second session was held in Rome on April 16 and 17, bringing together a dozen project members to consolidate the trajectory and identify the concrete landings of this collegial effort.

This design thinking approach, in the context of ideation workshops at the heart of the University of Sapienza, enabled the first findings to emerge and oriented the collaboration towards impact solutions.

We also interviewed and heard from a number of business leaders to better understand the challenges they face, and to identify the difficulties and opportunities that such an approach could create.

Crossing paths

Between each work session, the participants continue to make progress, feeding into each new meeting. The next “prototyping” meeting, to be held in Samos in June, should enable us to formalize certain deliverables and structure a more permanent approach.

The highly constructive and committed spirit generated by the cross-fertilization of viewpoints from the worlds of business, research and the NGO sector, gives a special dimension to the exchanges and encourages the consideration of realities that are sometimes far apart.

The aim is not to oppose points of view, but rather to share the issues and realities experienced by all participants, in order to bring together ideas that combine commitment, responsibility, action... and business.

At the end of these different phases, the Working Group will propose its conclusions during the month of October.
