One of the most important events of the year—our annual celebration of sustainable castor farming—brought together our valued customers in Gujarat for the 4th #Eranda event! This year, children from four high schools participated in a sustainability training program and an exciting competition, empowering the next generation with knowledge and engagement. Since the program's start, an estimated 2,000 students have been trained and participated in the scholarship competition. We were also honored to welcome Advanced Bio-Circular #ABC customers, strengthening our shared commitment to sustainability. We’re thrilled to share the latest milestones of the Pragati Project, a sustainable castor bean initiative, now celebrating 8 years since its inception in 2016. 🎂 🌿 In that time, over 10,000 farmers from more than 80 villages in #Gujarat, India, have been trained to grow #castorbeans sustainably. Together, they’ve produced 100,000 tons of certified seeds across 36,000 hectares of land, all adhering to the SuCCESS sustainability standards. …🙋♀️ But we’re not stopping here. The Pragati program, now in its third phase (2023–2026), puts a greater focus on supporting female participation in castor farming. This year, more than 1,100 women from 17 project villages have registered under the program. All of them have also enrolled in the digital and financial literacy module, leading to improvements in their active roles in financial and household decision-making. This is a journey of continuous growth, and we’re proud to be creating a positive dynamic in the castor farming sector.
