#Panoramainside 📢 In Chile's Atacama Desert, a project of interstellar proportions is taking shape: the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT), designed by the European Southern Observatory (ESO). Scheduled to be operational by 2028, the ELT will be the world's largest telescope. Beyond its impressive size, its main mission will be to observe earth-like exoplanets by studying their atmospheres, in the hope of detecting possible signs of life. For this colossal project, the Safran Electronics & Defense plant in France opted for the #PanoramaSuite platform to supervise every stage process of the mirrors making up the M1 main mirror.
