🚀 One week after the inspiring event “Bridging E-Mobility, Building, and Energy Sectors for Interoperable EV Charging Solutions”, an insightful day full of opportunities 😃 VEDECOM and the MOBENA consortium were thrilled to host over 20 experts, researchers, and innovation leaders for a day full of exchanges around EV charging services across Europe. The event featured engaging discussions on Plug & Charge, Smart Charging, Cybersecurity topics and the associated interoperability challenges. 🚗🔌 Working hand in glove between energy, buildings and e-mobility actors is a must for a successful and interoperable deployment of charging services in a competitive, open, fair, and trustworthy market. It always feels like a class reunion, filled with familiar faces and great conversations! 💪 A huge thanks to the CharIN and VEDECOM teams for organizing such a fantastic event. The long car ride was absolutely worth it! Key Takeaways: ⚡ Plug&Charge is expanding! We have onboarded more and more CPOs. We’re especially excited for even more adoption in the AC field and in France 🇫🇷 – the more, the merrier! 💪 PnC Testing at the Testival is becoming more standardized as we now use End-to-End connections between EVs, EVSEs, our CPMS providers, and the Hubject Plug&Charge Ecosystem/PKI. -> For this event, the offline PKI was managed by Hubject too, keeping things seamless. ✉ Our Multi-Contract Showcase and live presentation received amazing feedback! We look forward to welcoming more MOs, fleets, and car rental companies into this innovative use case. 🙌 Shoutout to Hakan Ebabil and the Chargemap team for demonstrating how easy it is to onboard into our ecosystem. We appreciate your trust and collaboration as a new MSP member! 🚗 Nearly all OEMs at the event were able to do Plug&Charge with us—kudos to all the teams involved! We’re truly seeing this technology come to life across the industry. 🔄 ISO15118-20 is gaining momentum, with more testing happening at the controller level.
