𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀! 💌🍨 According to Dr. Gary Chapman in his 1990s book « The 5 love languages », love can be organized in 5 categories: physical touch, words of affirmation, acts of service, quality time, and receiving gifts. 🫰Meant to change how people analyzed their relationships, Chapman’s book is still talked about nowadays. For its Valentine’s Day limited collection, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream reveals 5 pints with flavors representing the love languages. 🫶 Between a cookie butter ice cream pint for the word of affirmation and a blackberry chip one for acts of service, this collection is the perfect way to discover your love language and your partner’s. What’s your love language? 💕 #SIALParis #ValentinesDay #LoveLanguages #IceCream

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘁! 🥗🙌 Are pulses and seeds the future of the agri-food industry?🫘 The food industry has slowly shifted towards healthier ingredients in recent years due to new consumer preferences. According to Kantar, 𝟳𝟰% 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 say that they have changed their eating habits for a healthier diet. The vegetable, fruit, and pulses sector has grown stronger over the years as plant-based diets are rising. Essential ingredients for meat alternatives while maintaining sufficient protein intake. 🥒 « An increasing number of people from the younger generation are limiting their meat consumption, favoring veggie alternatives. » - Young and Hungry Creative, Unify and Marmiton 📈 𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁: 𝟭𝟳% 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗻 𝗭 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟭𝟯% 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 are adopting vegetarian, pescatarian, or vegan diets while only 3% of Baby Boomers and 7% of Gen X are shifting towards these type of nutrition. However, according to Ingrid Barthod, the sector needs to diversify its offerings as there isn’t enough variety of vegetables and fruits in consumers’ diets. 🥙 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀: The plant-based field offers several innovative possibilities between meat alternatives and protein snacks. These types of food can easily take over in multiple sectors. → Full of nutritional benefits, pulses and seeds are essential in a plant-based diet. They can be transformed into plant-based protein powders, spreads, milk, tofu, and cheese. They can be everywhere, making it easier for consumers to transition from a carnivore diet to a plant-based one. 🌱 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆: The sector helps the environment on different levels such as reducing CO2 emissions and decreasing livestock farming, which is responsible for 𝟭𝟰.𝟱% 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀’ 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 🎾👀 Sports events like the Super Bowl, the Football World Cup, or the US Open bring an interesting view on partnerships between the venues and food and beverage brands.🏉 Tennis has increased in popularity due to documentaries, celebrities and influencers in attendance, and iconic players such as Serena Williams and Roger Federer. While fans come to the U.S. Open for tennis, alcoholic drinks are slowly stealing the spotlight with premium brand partnerships and becoming part of the entertainment. 🤝 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Since 1935, tennis events have partnered with global renowned brands starting with Robinsons. In 1989, evian became the official water sponsor of the U.S. Open, which later inspired several brands to join the wagon by sponsoring the event.💧 → Evian's success at positioning their water in branded coolers on the court or tucked-in tennis bags led other brands to rethink their marketing strategies at sports events. 🍻 The HEINEKEN Company is another longstanding sponsor of the tennis championship for alcoholic beverages. Although the event is known for its boozed drinks, Heineken opted to market its nonalcoholic beer since 2019 to demonstrate that attendees can still have fun without drinking alcohol. “It is important for us to show that moderation can be cool, which is why we introduced a limited-edition Heineken 0.0 can exclusively for U.S. Open attendees this year” - Jonnie Cahill, Heineken USA’s chief marketing officer. 🍹𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲, 𝘀𝗲𝘁, 𝘀𝗶𝗽: 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗮 $𝟮𝟯 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨.𝗦 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝘁? The Honey Deuce certainly can! Sold by the hundreds of thousands at the tennis Grand Slam, the iconic Honey Deuce is a tart and sweet cocktail made with Grey Goose vodka, lemonade, and Chambord raspberry liquor, topped with three spheres of honey dew melon. → Created by Nick Mautone, the cocktail is beloved by many despite the rising cost, which became a must-get tournament attraction and cultural symbol. 🌍 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲: Tennis is an international sport with tournaments worldwide with Roland Garros in France, Wimbledon in England, or the Australian Open in Australia. Due to its rising popularity, the tennis community has seen a significant surge in viewership as the sport has become more accessible. To welcome international visitors, the U.S Open partners up with global brands like Campari Group from Italy to offer Spritz, Dobel which brings a taste of Mexico with its tequila, and Moët & Chandon, which offers French elegance through champagne. → These premium brands enhance the tournament's beverage selection, providing attendees with memorable keepsakes like chrome-colored wine glasses and a feeling of home. 🥂 #SIALParis #Tennis #Event #BeverageIndustry #PremiumDrink

𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀! 🏈🍕 Super Bowl Sunday is undeniably one of the most important days in sports in the United States since football is the national sport. Although most Americans watch the sport's most anticipated game of the year, most people are watching the tournament for the food. 📺 🍟 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻: The Super Bowl watch party became a tradition among American families; it’s an opportunity to spend time with friends and family. With hosting the party comes great responsibilities regarding the menu.  Hosts plan the food preparation a month in advance of the big day. Between chicken wings and pizzas, the guests will certainly not starve! According to the TUMS survey, the food table must-haves are chicken wings, barbecue meats, seven-layer dip, and pizzas. These foods are easy to eat, prepare, clean, and enjoy. "Abundance, variety, and easy portability are alluring qualities for game watchers, offering quick bites between and during plays" - Donovan Conley, University of Nevada-Las Vegas professor 🌭 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲: While fans are eating junk food while watching the Super Bowl, the players are on a strict diet to ensure exceptional performance on the field. Based on Tom Brady’s diet, players’ meal plan is a high-protein, plant-based diet that excludes gluten, dairy, and alcohol. This demonstrates that fans are not projecting themselves to be athletes while watching sports; it’s solely for entertainment. #SIALParis #SuperBowl2025 #FoodIndustry #Gatherings

𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲! 👀🍜 Fancy restaurants are diversifying their offerings by invading grocery stores’ shelves with premium products. With the 2020 pandemic, the restaurant industry had to find solutions to overcome challenges created by the stay-at-home order. 🍝 As consumers seek higher-quality home-cooked meals, premium restaurants such as Rao's Specialty Foods, Inc., Carbone Fine Food, and Momofuku see this shift in consumer preferences as an opportunity to enter a new market. Their popular menu items are turned into profitable products, providing them a new sales outlet and touchpoint for expanding their customer base. 🥫 From pasta sauces to air-dried ramen, consumers are after a more elevated at-home dining experience, gravitating toward premium, locally sourced, and high-quality products. Restaurants ensure that consumer's favorite dishes are perfectly recreated, from taste to texture, to stay relevant in the competitive food delivery industry. 🍲 With decades of collecting consumer data, premium restaurants can connect with people and generate sales by identifying their needs and wants. Some flavors can be challenging to recreate because the ingredients often need to remain in their packaging for extended periods and might not have the same taste as in the restaurant. #SIALParis #Restaurants #PremiumFood #FoodIndustry
