Our joint project with Tata Group has earned us a spot as a finalist in the Recycled Plastic Product category at Plastics Recycling Show India in Mumbai. We are proud to have replaced a virgin PA66 compound with a sustainable alternative for the fan & shroud application in vehicles. The TECHNYL® 4EARTH® 100% recycled PA6 based solution, made from recycled fishing nets and textile yarns, has proven to be a game-changer.

The orientation of fibers in composite materials has a significant impact on both the manufacturing processes and the performance of the final product. This complexity necessitates the use of advanced simulation techniques to precisely predict and optimize material performance, ensuring that the end product meets the desired specifications. To gain further insights into this topic, explore the latest research carried out by DOMO and Siemens Digital Industries Software on behalf of the ProPeL Consortium, which investigates the influence of fiber orientation on the performance of UD tapes with carbon fibers and injection molded polymers reinforced with short glass fiber.
